After 22 years, "Ipswich Town" returns to the "Premier" league

“Ipswich Town” performed a fantastic journey. The club, which rose from League One to the Championship last year, was among the two strongest clubs in the second division in England this year.

With a 2-0 victory on the last day of the season against “Huddersfield”, Kieran McKenna's team secured second place and a ticket to the English Premier League.

“Ipswich Town” returns to the Premier League after a 22-year hiatus.

On the last day, “Leeds United” could not beat “Southampton”. These clubs will face playoffs for the final spot in the top division. Also joining them in the battle are “Norwich City” and “West Bromwich Albion”.
