On Sunday evening after a battle with a cunning disease, nine-year-old Stephen Packer, a player from the "Liverpool" youth academy, passed away, as reported by the official team website.

The young team supporter and footballer left a deep impression on everyone he interacted with during his time in the academy.

The academy director, Frank McParland, spoke positively about the late player: "Everyone only had good thoughts about Stephen. He was a very happy child, with a constant smile on his face. He was also a very talented footballer. In his group, he was the best athlete and very fast."

"Everyone in the club misses Stephen greatly. We want to express our condolences to his family and friends," said the director.
