The Egyptian provided two assists and scored one goal in the match.

However, after the match, M. Salah sent a not-so-pleasant message to the Liverpool club and fans about his expiring contract.

"I had a good summer. I had a lot of time to myself to think about everything.

As you know, this is the last year of my contract at this club. I just want to enjoy it. I don't want to think about the contract situation. We'll see what happens during the season."
