After attacking the "Lyon" coach - "Olympique" derby cancelled

On Sunday evening, the French „Ligue 1“ match between „Olympique“ derby was canceled.

Before the match, „Marseille“ fans decided to throw stones at the „Lyon“ bus, which resulted in the opponent's coach Fabio Grosso being hit.

The Italian was seriously injured. A stone hit him in the face, causing bleeding, and he received urgent medical assistance.

However, the match seemed to proceed as planned, but officials made the decision to cancel it. The newly appointed „Lyon“ president announced that his team wanted to play the game.

It is worth noting that this season has been tragic for the Lyon team - they are currently at the bottom of the „Ligue 1“ standings.
