"After debut Z. Zidane spoke: I am amazed"

The first match of Zinedine Zidane at the wheel of Madrid's "Real" club ended in a resounding victory for the "royal club", with Gareth Bale sealing the sweet victory with a "hat-trick". On Monday, the Frenchman, after being appointed as the head coach of "Real", praised the team for their excellent dedication.

In his first official appearance as the coach of "Real" at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium, Gareth Bale scored three goals and Karim Benzema added two, helping the "royal club" to crush "Deportivo" with a 5:0 victory.

Even though "Los Blancos" achieved crushing victories this season under Rafael Benitez, immediately under Zidane, "Real" played with a completely different mood, allowing them to defeat a team which has caused major troubles for the "royal club" this season, namely "Barcelona" and "Atletico".

During the press conference after the victory, Zidane assured journalists that there have been no major changes in the Madrid club for now.

"I was most pleased with their attitude - described the performance of "Real" players the Frenchman. - Winning 5:0 against "Deportivo" is definitely not easy. I was surprised by the players' desire to win."

Although Gareth Bale scored a "hat-trick" in Saturday's match, Zidane was not quick to shower the Welshman with praise.

"Gareth needs to do what I demand from every player - participate in defense and try to uncover when we control the ball.

Cristiano played great, - Zidane substituted Cristiano Ronaldo in one match without a goal. - He constantly wants to score goals because it's his blessing. I am sure his goal will grace the opponents' net in the next match."
