After the EURO 2020 final near the 'Wembley' stadium, the victim of hooligans became the 'Formula-1' star Lando Norris. At first, 'The Sun' newspaper quoted a witness who confirmed that McLaren driver L. Norris became a victim of mugging when leaving Wembley stadium after the 'Euro 2020' football championship final, where he lost his expensive 'Richard Mille' watch. Later, this information was confirmed by the McLaren team. According to 'The Sun', ticketless fans who invaded the stadium before the start of the match attacked L. Norris when he tried to get into his 'McLaren GT' supercar: one hooligan held Lando, while another ripped the watch from his hand. After the final match at Wembley Stadium, Lando became a participant in the incident, during which his wristwatch was taken from him. Luckily, Norris himself was not harmed, but understandably, he was shocked. The team supports Lando, and we are confident that all F-1 fans will contribute to his support and wish him the best results in the upcoming British GP event this weekend. Since this case is being investigated by the London police, we cannot provide further comments," the statement distributed by McLaren said.
