On Sunday, the 2017-2018 season of the "Premier" League came to an end, during which there was no shortage of records, impressive results, and performances. Here are the most memorable facts from the just concluded English championship.
Kevin de Bruyne had already reached 50 direct goal contributions in his career at the beginning of the season in this league (16 goals, 34 assists). He achieved this in just 76 matches - the fastest of all players in the history of this league;
Gareth Barry surpassed Ryan Giggs and became the player with the most matches played in the "Premier" League. After this season, he had already played 653 games in this league;
"Manchester City" team had won 14 matches in a row at one point - a new record in the English top league;
In 2017, Harry Kane finished with 37 goals in a calendar year - a new league record;
Jamie Vardy scored goals against "Arsenal", "Chelsea", "Liverpool", "Manchester City", "Manchester United", and "Tottenham Hotspur" clubs this season. He is the first player to score against all these teams in one season;
Petr Cech became the first goalkeeper in the history of the "Premier" League to finish 200 matches without conceding a goal;

Mohamed Salah scored against 17 clubs this season - no other player in the history of the league has scored against so many different teams in one season;
32 wins in a season by Manchester City is also a record that no other team in the English top league has achieved;
Sergio Aguero scored at least three goals in a match three times this season: twice with a hat-trick and once with four goals. Four times in one match, only Mohamed Salah has scored against opponents in the "Premier" League;
Arsene Wenger from Arsenal retired having won at least once in 48 stadiums in the "Premier" League - the best achievement among all managers, surpassing Sir Alex Ferguson;
This season was only the second one where two players (Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane) scored over 30 goals. However, in the 1993-1994 season, it took Andrew Cole and Alan Shearer 42 matches to achieve this;
Tottenham Hotspur became the team with the most points in the history of the "Premier" League in London. However, they finished third behind both Manchester clubs;
Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku joined 26 players who have scored at least 100 goals in the "Premier" League;
Meanwhile, Wayne Rooney became only the second player in the history of the "Premier" League to score at least 200 goals in the competition. He became the second player from this club after Alan Shearer;
In the assists graph, Manchester City players dominated - Kevin De Bruyne (16) was first, Leroy Sane (15) was second, and two more players from the same team (Raheem Sterling and David Silva - 11 each) along with another player not from the same club - Riyad Mahrez, shared the third position.
