Vilnius "Žalgiris" dramatically ended their journey in the Conference League.

Honorably holding on in Cyprus, the Lithuanian club ultimately lost 0:3 to "Pafas FC" after extra time, with an aggregate score of 2:4. 

Muameris Tankovičius equalized the series score in the 21st minute. Younnas Zahary scored just before the end of the first half.

In a minority, the Žalgiris team held on successfully for more than an hour – the match went into extra time. 

"Žalgiris" hoped for penalties, but the "Pafas" team went through. Anderson Silva scored in the 101st minute, and Vladas Dragomiras added another in the 118th minute.

In the first qualifying round, "Žalgiris" had defeated the Finnish team "VPS".

The Vilnius team is leading in the A league.
