Portugal was defeated by Morocco 0:1 in the quarter-finals of the World Cup, and after the defeat Bruno Fernandes and Pepe complained about the referee's work.
The quarter-final match was refereed by Argentine Facundo Tello. After the game, the players of the Portuguese national team had complaints about this fact.
"This is unforgivable, as today an Argentine referee officiated the match, this happened after Messi had complaints yesterday.
"After what I saw today, you can just hand the title to Argentina," said the 39-year-old center-back.
Meanwhile, B. Fernandes also had something to say.
"I don't know if they will now hand the cup to Argentina. I don't care, I'll say what I think and they won't like it.
"It's strange that the referee is from the country that is still playing in this World Cup. Obviously, it didn't help us," said the leader of the Portuguese national team.
