"Liverpool" and "Manchester City" team members moved to the England national team camp.
On Monday late at night, information emerged that Raheem Sterling got into a conflict with another England national team member - Joe Gomez. Both players had a heated confrontation on the field on Sunday when "Liverpool" was playing against "Man City" at home.
It is reported that R. Sterling did not 'cool down' after the altercation on Sunday and as soon as he arrived at the national team camp, he had a conflict with the "Liverpool" defender.
FA soon confirmed that R. Sterling is being removed from the England national team lineup for the match against Montenegro.
According to the "Daily Telegraph", the winger was not removed from the team because he later apologized to J. Gomez and other teammates.
R. Sterling will have a chance to return to the national team lineup in the match against Kosovo on Sunday.
England national team manager Gareth Southgate briefly commented on the incident: "One of our main strengths was the ability to separate club competition in the national team. Unfortunately, this time emotions took over.""
