The central matches of the „Premier“ league tour were extremely dramatic.

In London, „Tottenham“ beat „Liverpool“ 2:1.

The match started evenly, but in the 26th minute Curtis Jones received a red card for a rough foul. 10 minutes later, „Tottenham“ took the lead after Son Heung-min's goal.

Despite being a man down, „Liverpool“ equalized at the end of the first half. Cody Gakpo scored the goal, and Luis Diaz had the chance to overturn the result.

At the beginning of the second half, „Tottenham“ pressed on „Liverpool“'s goal, but it did not bring any advantage. However, in the 68th minute, „Liverpool“ was reduced to nine men. Jota received two yellow cards in two minutes.

The pressure from „Tottenham“ after the second red card for „Liverpool“ did not look impressive, but Joel Matip made a big mistake. The center-back scored an own goal in the last minute and dashed his team's chances of taking any points.

After this match, „Tottenham“ rose to second place in the league table.
