Granit Xhaka says that the whole London "Arsenal" team got scared of "Watford" game in the second half.
Despite wasting a two-goal lead, "Arsenal" had to settle for a draw with Watford. "The Hornets" completely dominated the second half of the match and narrowly missed out on all three points.
"We are disappointed because after a great first half, we came back onto the field and played such a poor second half", - said G. Xhaka in an interview with BBC.
"We knew that Watford had nothing to lose and would attack us, but we didn't engage in the game, we were too scared and unprepared to receive the ball," - continued the footballer.
Starting the season with two wins, "Arsenal" managed to collect only two points in the last three matches. Currently, the "Gunners" are in 7th place.
