After the first Lithuania veterans 50+ championship tour - a tie

As the Lithuanian veterans and seniors championships are gaining momentum, another group entered the competition - veterans in the 50+ age group.

They started their performances at the LFF Kaunas Training Center stadium on Saturday.

In this age group, the largest number of teams will compete - there will be as many as ten. These include the seniors from Vilnius, Visaginas "Inter veterans", Panevezys "Ekrano seniors", Siauliai VFK, Kaunas "Feniksas", Kaunas "73 United", Alytus "Dainava", Jonava VFK "Klevas", "Marijampole City", Vilnius "Nerealas".

In the first round, two teams performed without losses, managing to achieve the maximum possible points. These were the teams of Vilnius seniors and Visaginas "Inter veterans", who won two games each and collected six points.

The Vilnius team scored as many as 10 goals in two matches, did not concede a single one, and leads in terms of goal difference.

However, Visaginas team also won two matches, but with smaller margins, and is currently in second place.

Interestingly, after the first weekend, only one team remained which has not yet opened its points account - that is Vilnius "Nerealas", which lost both games (albeit to the two leaders) and so far remains with zero points.
