After spending his entire career in Italian clubs, the midfielder Andrea Pirlo may taste the bread of a legionnaire after the upcoming season.

The playmaker of Turin's Juventus stated that he will leave the team if he doesn't feel like an important part of it.

"I have already discussed my future plans with the team managers and we will meet again at the end of the season.

"Juventus is my priority, but I don't want to be a burden to anyone. Time flies and it's not written anywhere that I must stay, just because I am Pirlo," the veteran said.

"I will have to feel like an important part of the team, otherwise I will leave. Perhaps my career will turn towards abroad, undoubtedly to a top-level club.

The 34-year-old Italian's contract with Juventus is valid until the end of the 2013/14 season.
