The French national team in Qatar is supported by the country's president Emmanuel Macron.
After the victorious semi-final (2:0) against the Moroccan national team, the French president made an unexpected visit to the Moroccan team's dressing room.
According to reports, E. Macron told Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat that he is the best midfielder of this world championship.
The president said this publicly in front of all Moroccan players and coaching staff.
The value of S. Amrabat, who is performing excellently in the World Cup, has risen to around 50 million euros. This is the amount that Fiorentina club wants to pay for the midfielder's transfer.
