London's "Arsenal" continues to be haunted by Santi Cazorla's injury nightmare - he underwent another Achilles tendon operation. The Spaniard last wore the "Gunners" jersey back in October 2016, when they defeated Razgrad's "Ludogorets" 6-0. Earlier, the midfielder had revealed that various complications almost cost him his foot. However, recently it seemed that the 32-year-old player could leave all the troubles behind. Speaking to "Marca," he expressed hope to return next spring. Nevertheless, as he revealed on Twitter, Cazorla had to once again fight an infection. "Due to some discomfort in the tendon that lasted for several days, I had to undergo surgery," wrote the player. "This delays my return date to the field. I maintain hope and motivation to enjoy my great passion, football." Since joining "Arsenal" from "Malaga" in 2012, Cazorla has played 180 matches for the club's first team, scoring 29 goals.
Due to some discomfort in the tendon that had been bothering me these last few days, I've had to go through the operating room again. I have to postpone the return date to the playing fields, but I keep the excitement and motivation to enjoy my great passion, football. #football pic.twitter.com/HpYYRd9VyQ - Santi Cazorla (@19SCazorla) November 29, 2017
