„Wolfsburg“ attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne's agent, Dick Hecking, denied rumors that the Belgian will move to another club this summer and says that his future is with the current team.
The 23-year-old footballer demonstrated excellent form this season and by breaking the record for assists in the "Bundesliga," led his team to second place.
„Kevin is happy and has decided to take further career steps with „Wolfsburg“,– the agent told Bild.
„He is only thinking about his club. We will try to reach an agreement on extending the contract.“
According to Bild, the new Belgian contract should include a buyout clause ranging from 50 to 70 million euros, which, if offered, would automatically allow the club to release De Bruyne to another team. The contract is likely to be valid until 2020, and the midfielder will earn 5 million euros per year.
In January 2014, „Wolfsburg“ acquired the Belgian from London's „Chelsea“ for 25 million euros.
