It seems that Jorge Mendes has resolved further media speculation about the future of James Rodriguez, who plays for Madrid's "Real".
The 25-year-old footballer has had limited playing time this season, so after the FIFA Club World Cup final, he told journalists that he would seriously consider the possibility of leaving. Rumors quickly emerged in the press that three clubs - PSG, Turin's "Juventus", and London's "Chelsea" - were particularly interested in the Colombian.
However, the player's agent, J. Mendes, reassured fans of J. Rodriguez by stating that the midfielder will not leave the Spanish capital in January.
Journalists from Madrid's "AS" newspaper spotted J. Mendes leaving the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium and managed to ask about J. Rodriguez's future. Mendes reportedly said, "James will not leave Madrid this January."
It is undeniable that if the Colombian's playing time does not increase in the second half of the season, serious offers from other clubs will pour in during the summer.
So far this season, J. Rodriguez has played 16 matches (859 minutes), scored two goals, and provided nine assists.
