Agent: Racing for J. Seri, "Napoli" leads

According to the agent of Jean-Michael Seri, Franklin Malo, the defensive midfielder would prefer to move to Napoli instead of the Premier League.

The Ivory Coast national team member performs well in Nice and almost transferred to Barcelona last summer.

Although this transfer fell through, the richest clubs in the world continue to show interest. Among them are Chelsea and Arsenal in London.

"We hope to receive positive news from Napoli in the next few hours," Malo told "CalcioNapoli24."

"We have maintained informal contact with Napoli, but there is no progress. We are ready to meet with Napoli."

"Napoli is leading the race. Seri wants to move to Napoli more than anywhere else. Napoli must hurry up and finalize the deal."

"His 40 million euro release clause will expire on July 15, so they must satisfy it by that date. After July 15, Nice can ask for any amount."

"Seri is interested in two Premier League teams, but I can't say more."

In 43 matches in all competitions last season, Seri scored two goals and provided 10 assists.
