In the press, there were reports about a possible sale of the 27-year-old footballer, nicknamed "atomic flea", who has a contract valid until next summer. However, in an interview given to the newspaper "Giornale di Sicilia", the player's agent Andrea D'Amico categorically denied any speculations about his client's desire to leave "Juventus". "Giovinco will definitely not move to 'Palermo' or any other club. The coach trusts him one hundred percent. Soon we will meet with the representatives of 'Juventus' and discuss the terms of a new contract," reassured A. D'Amico. In the last season, S. Giovinco spent most of his time on the bench.
