Robert Lewandowski's agent denied rumors about Madrid's "Real" interest in the striker from Poland. According to him, the Spanish capital team had not even made contact with the player. Speaking to the Polish Polstat, Cezaris Kucharskis also emphasized that the player sees no reason to change clubs.
"Real" had not even started conversations about a transfer - it's only rumors. Rumors related to Robert only show what kind of player he is. He is known not only in Poland or Germany but throughout Europe. Lewandowski is in a team that suits him and there is no reason to change anything," Kucharskis said.
The agent also confirmed rumors in the press that the striker wants a new contract with the "Bayern" club.
"Yes, we have started talks about a new contract. I can't talk about the details because it's confidential," the Pole said.
According to AS, Lewandowski aims to almost double his 10 million euro contract and earn 18 million euros per year. The 27-year-old player scored 19 goals in 19 matches in the Bundesliga this season.
