One of the best footballers in the world was awarded the prestigious "Golden Foot" award for impressive career achievements and contributions to football.

This prize can only be awarded once in a lifetime to a player aged 28 or older.

These nominees included Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Manuel Neuer, Andrea Pirlo, Thiago Silva, Franck Ribery, Yaya Toure, Thierry Henry, and Brazilian women's football star Marta Vieira Da Silva.

The winner was chosen by football fans who voted online, and the final decision was made by media representatives who evaluated both the achievements and personal qualities of the nominees.

Since 2003, this trophy has been awarded annually to a different player, and previous winners include Roberto Baggio, Pavel Nedved, Andriy Shevchenko, Ronaldo, Alessandro Del Piero, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho, Francesco Totti, Ryan Giggs, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Didier Drogba.

All winners of the "Golden Foot" prize also leave their footprints on a special Champions Alley in Monaco as a symbolic signature.
