Amsterdam's "Ajax" confirmed that they took advantage of the possibility stipulated in the rental agreement and bought out the contract of Leverkusen's "Bayer" sniper Arkadiusz Milik.
The Pole, who arrived in Germany in 2012, did not stand out in the ranks of "Bayer" and was loaned out to "Augsburg" last year, and this season he plays for the champions of the Netherlands.
Scoring 17 goals, Milik secured the trust of the club's coaches and should now spend the next four years in the "Ajax" ranks. It is believed that the buy-out amount is 2.8 million euros.
"Of course, I still feel the effects of the knee injury, but this day is amazing for me," said the forward who is currently unable to play.
"I see this as a reward for good work during training and matches and for the goals scored. Just for everything I have done here."
