A break for the select perfect time to organize legends, and in this case, a charitable match.
The "Reds" triumphed in the legends match between "Liverpool" and "Ajax" at Anfield stadium - 4:2.
The meeting began with the fulfillment of legendary coach Sven Goran-Eriksson's dream. The Swede, facing a difficult stage of cancer, had the chance to somehow train the "Liverpool" team.
45 years ago, at the age of 29, S. Goran-Eriksson wrote a letter to then "Liverpool" manager Bob Paisley, asking to observe the training sessions of the "Liverpool" team. His father, aged 95, from Sweden watched this performance.

The 76-year-old Swede has coached teams such as "Leicester City", "Manchester City", "Lazio", "Fiorentina", "Sampdoria", "Benfica", "Roma", teams in China and the England national team during his career.
After the first half, the "Ajax" legends led 2:0. Derk Boerrigter and Kiki Musampa scored accurately.
However, the "Liverpool" veterans returned in the second half. Goals from Vignalo, Cisse, Nabil El Zhar, and Fernando Torres determined the "Reds" victory.
After the match, S. Goran-Eriksson said: "This has been my dream club my whole life. Even when I was coaching the England national team, I supported Liverpool, but I couldn't say that at the time.
This is a good finish, with Liverpool. It's hard to think of anything better."
Legends such as Djibril Cisse, Rafael van der Vaart, Urby Emanuelson, Ronald de Boer, Edgar Davids, Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt, Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel, Jerzy Dudek, Ryan Babel, Sami Hyypia, Jari Litmanen participated in the match. The latter managed to play for both teams.
