"Ajax" from Madrid's "Real" wants to sign M. Odegaard

Wonderful season playing in the Netherlands, Martin Odegaard may find out this summer how his further career will unfold.

Norwegian football prodigy was written off by some football experts when he failed to make it into the main Madrid "Real" team before even turning 18.

The "Whites" decided that he needed a few years on loan in the Netherlands and it seems that this step paid off. At first, the Norwegian played for the "Heerenveen" team for 1.5 years, and this season he put on the "Vitesse" jersey.

This season, M. Odegaard became a true leader of the "Vitesse" team and one of the best players in the Dutch league. He has scored eight goals and made nine assists in 32 matches.

M. Odegaard's game not only raises the spirits of Madrid "Real" team, but also other clubs who believe they have a chance to buy his contract this summer.

It is undeniable that the Norwegian will have the opportunity to show himself in the "Real" team this summer, but it is unknown what plans Zinedine Zidane has for him. Because of this ongoing uncertainty, representatives from "Real" and M. Odegaard are expected to contact Amsterdam "Ajax", which knows best how to deal with young talents.

According to media reports in the Netherlands, "Ajax" is ready to offer 25-30 million euros, but "Real" is currently rejecting any possibility of selling the player.

M. Odegaard himself also doesn't know where he will be next season: "I am not thinking about the interest of 'Ajax.' There are always rumors in football, and right now I am focused on 'Vitesse.' My agent is currently talking to 'Real.' We will decide what would be the best step for my further development."

M. Odegaard can play in two positions - winger and central midfielder. Madrid "Real" signed a contract with the Norwegian in 2015. At that time, he was worth 4 million euros.
