“Al Hilal” club has purchased a new defender.

“RMC Sport” journalist Fabrice Hawkins reports that Marseille defender Renan Lodi will move to the ranks of Saudi Arabia's leaders for €20 million.

At the beginning of his career, the 25-year-old Lodi had several very successful seasons with Atletico, but then followed an unsuccessful move to Nottingham Forest.

In Marseille, the Brazilian was the main left-back, but the French club was tempted by a round Arab sum.

This transfer will officially be a loan with a guaranteed €20 million buyout option after the season.
