FIFPro revealed all the football players who will compete to be in the best eleven of the year.
Altogether, 55 candidates were announced from all positions - goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and forward. The best players from each position are chosen by as many as 25,000 professional footballers from 65 different countries.
Real Madrid has the most candidates in this list - 11. At the national level, Spain has the most with 8, while the world champion France has six representatives in the list.
The list lacked players such as Jan Oblak, Sergio Aguero, Roberto Firmino, Thiago, or Gareth Bale.
The best eleven players will be revealed during the FIFA awards on September 24th.
