June 12 - the most anticipated day of the year. Today in Brazil begins the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which will capture the interest of people all over the planet.
The World Cup will take place from June 12th to July 13th. All matches (group stage, round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, third place playoff, final) will be broadcasted on the channel LRT, and several matches can also be viewed on LRT Kultūra.
The first match will begin today in São Paulo, where the hosts Brazil will seek to defeat Croatia. The match will start at 23:00 and will be broadcasted on LRT.
