Strategist Massimo Allegri will sign a new contract with the club in the near future, which will be valid until the summer of 2014.

The 44-year-old specialist's current contract expires after this season, but the club officials are inclined to extend it.

"Vice President Adriano Galliani said, 'I will remain in charge of the team until 2014, and I reassured that I have no intention of leaving,'" Allegri told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I have no problems, so reaching an agreement will not be difficult. We just need to discuss everything."

Last season, Milan won the Italian championship with Allegri, and currently, they occupy the 2nd place in the league standings.
