Five matches of the 34th round of the Spanish "Primera" league have been played.
Madrid's "Real" footballers met the "Almeria" team at their home stadium. Carlo Ancelotti's players easily defeated the visitors with a score of 3-0.
In the first half, the home team played quite impressively and only managed to score the first goal towards the end of the half. In the 44th minute, James Rodriguez scored a magnificent goal with a single touch, putting the "whites" in the lead.
In the second half, C. Ancelotti's team played better and created more dangerous opportunities. In the 49th minute, "Real" gained a two-goal advantage when Mauro Dos Santos scored an own goal after a pass from Toni Kroos.
The final point in this match was scored by right-back Alvaro Arbeloa, after an excellent pass from Javier Hernandez. It is worth mentioning that 16-year-old Martin Odegaard was on the bench as a substitute for "Real", but he did not appear on the field.
After the victory, the Madrid team once again reduced the gap to the first-placed "Barcos" to 2 points.
In another match, Madrid's "Atletico" faced "Villarreal". The only goal scored by Fernando Torres in the 74th minute determined the winner of the match.
In other matches, victories were achieved by the teams of Vigo "Celta", "Elche" and "Sevilla".
