Manuel Almunia's agent confirmed that the London goalkeeper wants to return to Spain to play.
The 33-year-old footballer lost his place in the main team of the 'Gunners' to Lukasz Fabianski from Poland when he suffered an elbow injury in September. Last month, he played in reserve team matches, but admitted that he still feels pain, so he has been continuing his rehabilitation in his homeland lately.
It is said that Almunia would like to join the "Malaga" club. The deal could happen as early as January.
