The First League (the second most powerful in Lithuania) found out its winner.

After a 1-0 victory in Kėdainiai, Alytus' "Dainava" team won the title of First League champions.

The victory of Alytus was determined by Kazeem Aderounmu's goal in the 72nd minute.

"Nevėžis" is currently in second place in the First League, but in this round they might be overtaken by the team of Klaipėda's "Neptūnas".

Last season, the champions of the First League were Šiauliai's "Šiauliai".
