"Manchester City" will be the subject of a documentary film debuting on the "Amazon Prime" platform next summer, as revealed by sources from the Goal.com portal.
The crew has already started filming certain scenes inside the club and are discussing how these works will progress throughout the entire season.
The negotiations between "Amazon" and "Man City" have not yet reached a final agreement, but it is expected that the final version of the documentary film will include behind-the-scenes footage such as coach Pep Guardiola's conversations with assistants and staff meetings.
Currently, fans of the team are shown episodes of the "Inside City" project, allowing them to get acquainted with the "Citizens'" training sessions, community events, and players' medical check-ups. However, the new documentary film should take all of this to an even higher level.
It is reported that there was competition for the rights to film "Man City" from the rapidly popular "Netflix" as well. Both the creator of television series and "Amazon" are simultaneously in talks with other "Premier League" clubs for similar documentary projects.
