The owner of "Queens Park Rangers" club, Tony Fernandes, is not going to give up trying to attract England football star David Beckham to the team.

The experienced goalkeeper does not hide his desire to compete in the 2012 Olympic Games, so he would consider the possibility of returning to the Premier League.

"Beckham's representatives want to talk because our club's vision is long-term - we would envision our collaboration in commercial projects in Asia," Fernandes said. "I am a person of ideas, and this option is a great idea. Maybe David won't want to come here and will look for a more famous team, but you never know what will happen in January."

Beckham's contract with the United States club Los Angeles Galaxy will expire at the end of this year.

This summer, QPR added more or less well-known footballers to their squad such as Shaun Wright-Phillips, Joey Barton, Anton Ferdinand, Luke Young, and Armand Traoré.
