Football reigns supreme at the Kaunas University of Technology Vocational Training Center's Social Services Division stadium. On November 12, an integration football tournament "Football for All" took place, featuring teams from the Social Services Division students, students of the Lithuanian Sports University, and football coaches.

"Currently, we have a break in the student football league, so I am happy to come with my university's football team to compete in a friendly football tournament. Football can be played by everyone, so it is great that such tournaments are happening and we are invited to participate," shared Tomas Miliauskas, a football coach at the Lithuanian Sports University.

After all teams played against each other, the Lithuanian Sports University students' team secured the first place undefeated, the first team from the Social Services Division took the second place, and the trophy for third place went to the second team from this institution.

The matches were held without referees; the players from the teams made decisions during the game themselves, adhering to the principles of fair play and mutual respect.

The tournament's prize-winning teams were awarded trophies established by the Kaunas County Football Federation, which were presented by Giedra Sadauskienė, the head of the Social Services Division.

"Football is a great tool for fostering communication and collaboration. After all, on the football field, we are all equal. In the Social Services Division, students with special needs study, and football is their favorite game. I am glad that the students had the opportunity to compete with both the students of the Lithuanian Sports University and with the team of football representatives, which included former national football player Andrius Velička and Dominykas Norkus, a referee from the Lithuanian top league," expressed one of the organizers, Martynas Karpavičius.

The football tournament was organized by the teachers of the Social Services Division, Vida Misevičienė, Rytis Šležys, and Martynas Karpavičius. The health of the participants was overseen by healthcare specialist Jovita Česaitytė.
