Ancelotti does not plan major changes in the composition of Chelsea © EuroFootball.com

London strategist Carlo Ancelotti does not believe that there will be radical changes in the team's composition this summer, but admits that this season it was too weak.

The capital club is likely to end up without trophies, so there is a threat to the specialist from Italy.

Commenting on the situation, Ancelotti noted that, after acquiring David Luiz and Fernando Torres for 85 million euros in January, there should not be significant changes.

"I don't think there will be many changes, because in January we acquired two very important footballers: Luiz and Torres," he said. "In my opinion, it's not worth making big changes."

However, he added: "At the beginning of the season, I did not expect to lose so many important players due to injuries. We struggled when Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, Michael Essien, John Terry, and Alex were out. At one point, we had to put Paulo Ferreira in the center-back line because there were no players left in that position.

At the beginning of the season, you can't think that this will happen. Due to these losses, we lost quite a few points."
