Coach Carlo Ancelotti renewed his contract with the Italian champions until 2007. The old contract was still valid for two more years, until 2006.

Speaking about the upcoming season, the coach of AC Milan said that he has set one goal - to improve the team's game and win both major tournaments: the Italian championship and the UEFA Champions League.

"I am very happy. I had no doubts about signing. The adventures and dreams continue," Ancelotti said.

Since he started coaching the Milan club, the 45-year-old coach has enjoyed great success - winning the Champions League, the Italian Cup, and Serie A in just two seasons.

In his previous career, Ancelotti coached clubs like Reggina, Parma, and Juventus, before moving to Milan in November 2001.
