"Anfield" stadium booed L. Suarez: "We looked like schoolboys"

Luis Suarez couldn't even imagine what a nightmare he would experience at his former club's stadium.

Before Tuesday's Champions League semi-final second leg, Barcelona's striker made promises that if he scored a goal, he wouldn't celebrate, thus honoring Liverpool fans, but the 32-year-old Uruguayan didn't even have such an opportunity.

Liverpool players reminded on Tuesday night at Anfield stadium that miracles happen. In the first game, the Catalan club lost 0:3 to Liverpool, but they amazed everyone in their own stadium by defeating Barcelona's team 4:0.

L. Suarez was left in tears. The striker compared his team to schoolboys.

"We must be prepared for all the criticism that is now coming down on us - said L. Suarez. - We are very sad. We feel a lot of pain."

Talking about the fourth goal scored by the hosts, when the Catalans simply watched the ball flying into the penalty area, L. Suarez said: "Because of this goal, we looked like schoolboys."
