Angry at 'cheap' goals A. Wenger: "We had to climb a mountain"

London's team "Arsenal" unexpectedly started the "Premier" championship with a 0:2 loss to the "West Ham" team.

After the match, the "Gunners" coach Arsene Wenger looked for the reasons for failure.

"I think our performance was unconvincing. We unsuccessfully tried to attack and defend, which resulted in us being punished," said the Frenchman.

"Everything was crowned by two very 'cheap' goals, which were scored at the most inappropriate time for us - just before the major break and right after it."

"We had to climb a mountain," Wenger was annoyed.

"When opponents scored the second goal, they retreated to defense and wasted time. We should not have let such a first blow go," the coach lamented.

Arsenal's next match in the "Premier" league will be on Sunday away against the "Crystal Palace" club.
