Angry "Nottingham Forest" owner confronted referee P. Tierney © PA

"Nottingham Forest" club owner Evangelos Marinakis exploded.

After the match between "Nottingham Forest" and "Liverpool", which ended with a dramatic 1-0 away win, the Greek billionaire tried to explain his relationship with the referee Paul Tierney.

According to the "Mirror" newspaper, the Greek confronted the referee in the tunnel of the "City Ground" stadium.

E. Marinakis shouted: "Respect the players. This happens every time!"

The decisive goal of the match was scored in the 99th minute, despite there being 8 minutes added. However, the "Forest" players tried to waste time, received two yellow cards for time-wasting, so the referee's decision to let the game continue longer was justified.

After this incident, E. Marinakis was detained by stadium security.
