The well-known Serbian football specialist Siniša Mihajlović will try to demand an impressive sum of 11 million euros from the Lisbon "Sporting" team.
This summer, the 49-year-old coach was hired by the Portuguese team, but was immediately fired after the club's president changed.
"In mid-June, I signed a three-year contract that was supposed to start on July 1st.
A few days later, the team president Bruno del Carvalho was removed by the board of directors and on June 27th I received news that my contract was canceled because I did not pass the trial period.
"What can I say... At that time, I was still on vacation in Sardinia. Throughout my 30-year playing and coaching career, I have never seen anything like this, so I have to respect my rights," Mihajlović said.
