The company "Deloitte" announced the world's top-earning clubs last season.
At the top of the list is the "Man Utd" team, which earned a staggering 676.3 million euros.
The "Red Devils" received a bonus of 44.5 million euros from UEFA when they triumphed in the Europa League tournament, which was four times the amount received by the 2011/12 season winner, Madrid's "Atletico".
In second place was the title-collecting Madrid "Real", who defeated their rivals in the Champions League tournament, "La Liga" championships, won the Spanish Super Cup, and the Club World Cup.
These performances allowed the Spaniards to generate 674.6 million euros in revenue. However, even this was not enough to overtake "Man Utd".
With just a 1.7 million euro difference between the two richest clubs on the planet, it is the smallest gap in the history of this statistics category.
In total, 20 world clubs collected a total of 7.9 billion euros and set a new record.
