FIFA announced ten footballers who are competing for the title of the best football player of 2019.
The list includes a group of well-known footballers: Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Virgil van Dijk, Matthijs de Ligt, Frenkie de Jong, Eden Hazard, Sadio Mane, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe, and Mohamed Salah.
The "Liverpool" club has the most representatives on the list, as they triumphed in the UEFA Champions League last season.
None of the "Manchester City" players made it to the list, even though they secured all possible trophies in England last season.
Football fans most missed players like Alisson, Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling, and Dusan Tadic.
Fans from all over the world will be able to participate in the voting, but the votes of journalists and national team coaches and captains will carry the most weight.
The FIFA Best Player of the Year will be awarded at a ceremony in Milan on September 23.
