FIFA revealed a list of 10 candidates who are nominated for the Best Men's 2016 Football Coach award. The list includes Pep Guardiola ("Manchester City"), Jurgen Klopp ("Liverpool"), Claudio Ranieri ("Leicester"), Mauricio Pochettino ("Tottenham"), Zinedine Zidane ("Real Madrid"), Luis Enrique ("Barcelona"), Diego Simeone ("Atletico"), Chris Coleman (Wales national team), Didier Deschamps (France national team) and Fernando Santos (Portugal national team). The favorites are three - Z. Zidane, C. Ranieri and F. Santos. The latter is considered the main candidate, as the Portugal national team led by him unexpectedly triumphed in the 2016 European Championship. Z. Zidane is also mentioned among the candidates, although his coaching career at the highest level only began last January. Nevertheless, the Frenchman with Real Madrid managed to win the UEFA Champions League and the Super Cup. The "miracle worker" C. Ranieri is also competing for the best coach award. The "Leicester" led by the Italian created a real football miracle - they triumphed in the English Premier League, even though just the previous season they barely avoided relegation from the country's top division. It is worth mentioning that last year the best coach was chosen as the "Barca" victories blacksmith L. Enrique.
