The Italian publication "Tuttosport" revealed which five young footballers will compete for the "Golden Boy" award this year.
The list includes well-known names - Justin Kluivert ("Roma"), Matthijs De Ligt ("Ajax"), Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid), Patrick Cutrone ("Milan"), and Trent Alexander-Arnold ("Liverpool").
The award is given to a player under the age of 21. It will be presented in Turin on December 17.
Many may be surprised that Kylian Mbappe did not make the top five, but he likely did not make the list because he was already the winner of this award last year.
The Frenchman is also nominated to win the Raymond Kopa award, which is given to the best young player in the world. It is undisputed that it will go to K. Mbappe.
