„Brighton“ club announced on Sunday about another, already third footballer infected with coronavirus. The identity of the player is not disclosed, but he will have to spend the next two weeks in quarantine. The first two COVID-19 cases in this „Premier“ league club were identified earlier, but the team continues to prepare for individual training sessions. „We are concerned. In recent weeks, we have followed all safety requirements, and the players have hardly trained at all, but we still have another footballer infected with coronavirus“, - one of „Brighton“ leaders Paul Barber spoke to „Sky Sports“. Representatives of „Premier“ league clubs will hold another meeting on Monday to further discuss the possibility of extending the season.
