Vice President Adriano Galliani mentioned that this summer the team could be supplemented by Turin legend Alessandro Del Piero.

The 36-year-old veteran's contract with "Senāja senjora" will expire in June and, according to the leaders, will not be extended. However, the footballer himself did not confirm that he will end his career.

"It's never too late, is it? I am trained to distinguish talented and average players, not young and old," Galliani said to Sky Sport Italia. "Talent is always more important than age.

In addition, many of our team stars retired by the age of 40 - Paolo Maldini and Costacurta, Pippo Inzaghi is already 38 and he is still playing."

One of the Milan directors also stated that an attempt was made to attract Del Piero in 1993, when he left Padova and moved to Juventus.
