South Korea experienced another drama in the Asian Cup.

In the quarterfinals, South Korea defeated Australia 2-1 after extra time.

Craig Goodwin put Australia ahead in the 42nd minute.

Just like in the round of 16, South Korea managed to save themselves only at the very end in the quarterfinals. Son Heung-min earned a penalty kick, which was converted by Hwang Hee-chan.

During extra time, Son extended Korea's lead with a penalty kick.
