
The Champions League has lost a third Italian club in the last two days.
In a dramatic extra time, Juventus of Turin succumbed to PSV in the first round of the knockout stage, losing 1:3 away, and overall, the score over 210 minutes was quite high – 3:4.
There were no goals in the first half of the return match.
In the 53rd minute, Ivan Perišić equalized the series score, scoring his second goal in two matches.
In the 63rd minute, Timothy Weah tipped the series score in favor of Juventus again. His goal was confirmed by VAR.
In the 74th minute, Ismaël Saibari extended the match into extra time with his goal.
During extra time, the decisive goal was scored by Ryan Flamingo in the 98th minute.
PSV will meet either Inter or Arsenal in the quarter-finals.
