Lamine Yamal became the youngest player in the history of the European Championship to receive the title of the best young player of the tournament.
After the final, the 17-year-old Spaniard received this title from UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin.
"Barcelona" striker made an assist in the final, and overall he left the tournament with 4 assists. In the semi-final against France, he scored a goal from outside the penalty area.
Spain defeated the English national team 2-1 in the final.
